DIY: MISSPAP Kandy Silver Lace Hoop Choker Inspired
Materials
*Round Nose Pliers
*Flat Nose Pliers
*Black Long Suede String
*1 Large Silver Round Wire Ring (from Hobby Lobby which comes in a pack)
*1 Large Ribbon End Clamps (from Joann Fabrics)
*2 Small Ribbon End Clamps (from Joann Fabrics)
*1 Small Round Circle Brass Ring (from Michael's)
*2 Silver Headpins (from Joann Fabrics)
*2 Small Silver Stars
Step 1: Fold the string in half so that both ends are equal, then placed the large ribbon end clamps in the middle of the string. Use the plat nose pliers to press the clamps tightly onto the string.
Step 2: Take the small round circle brass ring and hook it onto the large round wire ring. Next, hook the small round circle brass ring onto the ribbon end clamps. Use the round nose pliers and flat nose pliers to secured it closed tightly.
It should look like this.
Step 3: Place the two small ribbon end clamps onto the end of the string. Use the flat nose pliers to press the clamps tightly onto the string.
Step 4: Take a headpin and poke it through the star. Use the wire cutter and cut an inch and 1/2 off of the headpin. (Measurements can be different depending on how long or short your headpin is)
Use the round nose pliers to create a loop at the end.
Step 5: Hook the loop onto the small ribbon end clamps and used the flat nose pliers to secured it closed tightly.
It should look like this when you're done.
